As we all celebrate Christmas, the world feels a little emptier without my cousin Sarah in it. She had a way of making every moment brighter with her dry wit, her big heart, and her sense of fun. I´ll always remember how she could make us laugh with her cynical humor, a rare gift that made even the most mundane moments unforgettable. She was my grandfather´s favorite, and we all knew it. While the rest of us cousins jockeyed for his attention, she had a special bond with him. I´ll never forget how he used to sneak her frozen Snickers from his fridge-a simple but telling sign of the love they shared. Sarah was so generous. When she was living in London, she didn´t just host me; she made my visit extraordinary. She found out I loved Indian food and took me on a culinary adventure through the best spots in the city. That´s just who she was-thoughtful, giving, and always ready to go the extra mile to make someone feel special. She was an incredible daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin-truly one of the best. Her passing leaves an ache that words can´t quite touch, but I´ll hold on to the memories and the joy she brought into our lives. Rest easy, Sarah. You are deeply loved and will be forever missed. ~ Elizabeth
