Mount Gilead, North Carolina - Sarah Cole Jordan, 90, of Mt. Gilead, passed away early Sunday morning, November 24, 2024.

"She is this thread that runs through so many places, pulls us all together around really good ideas and doing good things It's a spark, and she gets other people connectedIt was a vision about serving kids on a much broader spectrum in a much broader way. So, from that spark we all have warmed in the glow of her generosity the gifts that you've given not only financially but the love, the support, the relationships and everything else. We are all better people for it, and we are grateful for all that you've done." -Bert Armstrong.

Sarah and I became acquainted when I worked for Bob´s campaign for Governor. We hit it off, and I loved every minute I spent with her. I later worked on the decor committees for Child advocacy and the American Cancer Society fund raising balls with Sarah. She was a very special woman, and I treasure my memories with her.
