Sarah Prevost Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 15, 2011.
Sarah was born in Rochester, Michigan. Sarah is the cherished daughter of Stephen and Dean Ann Fowler of Brookfield, CT. She spent her growing up years in Indiana, Michigan, and Connecticut. Sarah was a very accomplished software engineer. She was a leading talent in her field. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with the highest marks in her degree program. She earned the prestigious title of Valedictorian of her entire engineering class. After meeting in college, she married her devoted husband of eleven years, Chuck, age 34. They built a wonderful life together with their beloved children, Lorraine, age 7, and Eric, age 5, here in San Diego. Life with Chuck, Lorraine and Eric gave Sarah her life’s greatest joys. Sarah was an incredible mom, a loving wife, and a successful software engineer at Qualcomm. Sarah was a vivacious, brilliant, gentle woman who had a special sweetness about her, an immeasurable inner strength, and a smile that could quietly warm the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. Sarah’s brief but full life was cut short by melanoma at the age of 33. In addition to her husband, children, parents, grandfather and her brother James Fowler of Mason, NH, Sarah is also survived by her extended family and friends. Viewing hours will take place this Wednesday, April 20th beginning at 6:00 pm. El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA The funeral will be held the following day at the same location at noon Thursday, April 21st. Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to college funds for Sarah’s beloved children. Lorraine and Eric gave Sarah her life’s greatest joys. Most sincere thanks to the Hospice Care workers for their care and support.
