Sarah Lee Richards, 90, of TomballTexas, passed away October 23, 2025. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and caring friend.

Sarah was born in Houston Texas on June 8, 1935, to Casper and Maude Reiff. She grew up in Houston, Texas where she attended Heights High School. She married the love of her life, Richard Richards, in 1971. They lived in Pearland until 1993, when they moved to Tomball where they resided for the remainder of their lives.

After caring for her husband until his passing in 2020, Sarah enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and going to the beauty shop every Friday. She was the glue of her family, and she found great joy doting on her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Sarah was a devoted member of Southwinds Baptist Church in Tomball until her passing.

Sarah had a way of making everyone feel at home in her presence. She truly lit up every room she walked into. Sarah's kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be forever remembered. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she touched with her compassion and grace. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sarah is survived by her daughters, Janet Hill; Teresa Soria and husband Chris; son, Richard Richards Jr. and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Bobby Ward and wife, Margo; Krissy Ward, Faith Richards, Makenzi Richards, Skylin Richards, and Sarah Richards; great-grandchildren, Jace McDonald, Colton McDonald, Noah McDonald, Gwen Ward, and Liliana Ward; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard Richards; her parents and her sisters, Pauline Wesson, Virginia Dietz, Myrtle Buhler; and brother, Glover Reiff.

A celebration of life will be held at Southwinds Baptist Church 16811 FM 2920, Tomball, TX 77377 November 15, 2025 at 11 AM.
