Savannah Nicole Matthias

In the gentle town of Washington, PA, under skies of freedom's blue, Savannah Nicole Matthias, known to all as "Sav," in grace and beauty grew. Born on the Fourth of July, two thousand eight, a sparkler in the night, She danced through life with pure delight, her spirit ever bright. Sav's days were filled with laughter, her heart with love so vast, and though her journey ended in Guthrie Center, IA, her memories will forever last. On September's thirteenth day, in twenty twenty-five, a tragic twist of fate occurred, and Sav is no longer alive. A car accident stole away her dreams, her future yet untold, yet in our hearts, she'll always be, with stories to be retold. Savannah walked with kindness, and with every step, she'd weave a tapestry of love and joy that none could ever leave.
Beth and Clinton Matthias raised a daughter oh so dear, with siblings Sarah, Scott, and kin, whose closeness was sincere. Serenity and Skyler Montafia, Brittany and James Henry, too, Nicole, Jaycanna, Damien, Damianna, all their love was true. Luke and Kiesha LaBar, Jaelynn and Luke Jr., Blake, their familial bond with Sav was one that nothing could ever break.
At Panorama High, she shined, a senior soon to be, her art and music filled the halls with vibrant energy. At DG Market in Panora, IA, Sav found her crew. Her work was more than just a job, it was where friendships grew spiritual in her ways, she sought the truths within, finding peace in nature's arms, away from worldly din. She journaled thoughts and read with zeal, her mind a boundless space, and in the art she loved to craft, her soul found its embrace. Music was her solace, and in its notes, she'd find a harmony that soothed the soul, a rhythm for her mind. With family and friends, she'd spend her time, a treasure beyond measure, in each shared moment, each warm embrace, she found her greatest pleasurer and so we'll say, as Shakespeare wrote, with hearts both bold and tender,"Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow," our love we'll always render. Savannah's life, though brief in years, was rich in love and fun, a brilliant comet across our sky, outshining the sun. Her story lives within us all, in every tear, in every smile, for Savannah Nicole Matthias will be with us all the while. She will be greatly missed by all those that loved her and knew her.
