Savas Tober III, born on May 29, 1961, departed this world on January 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of happiness and warmth. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Diana Casanova Valdez, with whom he shared 22 cherished years. Savas was a man whose loving nature and welcoming spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, with a particular fondness for golf and gambling, activities that brought him both excitement and camaraderie. His enthusiasm for life was infectious, making each moment spent in his company memorable.Savas is survived by his mother, Simona Tober, and his son, Savas Tober IV. He also cherished his role as a step-father to Rudy and Ruby Nicole. His family was further enriched by the presence of his brothers, Rey, Rodney and Oscar and sisters, Linda and Molly who held a special place in his heart. Savas was proud of his grandchildren: grandsons Sage, Calem, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Robert, as well as granddaughters Tara, Brianna, Hailey, Kayla, Summer, and Layla. Each of them brought immense joy to his life, and he relished his time spent with them.
A visitation to honor Savas Tober III will be held on January 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and a Rosary at 6:30 PM at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels-South, located at 3520 South Flores Street, San Antonio, TX 78204.Savas's departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, yet his spirit will live on through the love and memories he created with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation contribution towards his funeral.
