Scott Bailey, 71 of Bledsoe, passed away on June 23, 2025. He was born to the late Elihu and Martha Simpson Bailey on March 3, 1954. He married the love of his life, Barbara Bailey on November 1, 1975. He loved to fish, dig for roots, was always a hard worker and more than anything loved his family and spending his time with them.
Mr. Bailey is preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Jack Bailey; Sister, Wilma Bailey.
Scott is survived by his loving Wife, Barbara Bailey; Children, Gary Scott Bailey II and Girlfriend, Ember Hoskins, John Henry Bailey and Wife Abitha, Brenda Bailey and Boyfriend Ronnie Hubbard and Patricia Lewis and Husband Jason; Grandchildren, Angel Hubbard, Madison Lewis, Landon Bailey, Aiden Bailey, Jasper Lewis, Andrea Hubbard, Ethan Bailey, Quentin Bailey, Easton Bowling, Isla Bailey, Payzleigh Shackelford, Myckenzleigh Shackelford, Reese Bailey and Violet Bailey; Brothers and Sisters, Lack Bailey and Wife Ruby, E.J. Bailey and Girlfriend Tenera, Beaver Bailey, Ruby Hearld and Husband Tim, Lola Gaines and Husband Cliff, Eula Brock and Husband Mark, Eldora Brock and Husband Dee and Angel Holbrook; Several Nieces, Nephews, Family members and Friends will also mourn his passing.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 1PM to 3PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 3PM also in the Chapel with Perry Long officiating.
