Scott "Barto" Bartoletti

Scott Lee "Barto" Bartoletti, age 56, died peacefully at home on February 11, 2024, after a short and courageous battle with kidney cancer. Scott was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on September 27, 1967. He attended the Howard/Suamico School District, graduating from Bay Port High School in 1986.
Scott fell in love with Carolyn Willette Heinzen and made her a Bartoletti in August of 1996 at Lost Lake in Athelstane, Wisconsin. Together they have shared their joys of family gatherings, camping at the lake, vacations with family and friends, and simply hanging out at home making meals and watching TV.
Scott had many different talents over the years, but salesmanship was his expertise. He worked as a salesperson at Culligan for several years. His last ten were spent at American Standard where, for many years, he was one of the top ten sales leaders in the nation. He was an outside sales representative, selling walk-in bathtubs mainly to senior citizens. His success was based on the kindness and patience he had for the elderly, which allowed him to connect and build unique relationships with his clients.
Scott was an active volunteer of the Unity of Friends Breast Cancer Fundraiser - Annual Chili Dump for 12 years, which raised over $112,000 for cancer patients in the area, because he believed in friends helping friends in need.
Scott was a great outdoorsman. He liked to hunt, fish, snowmobile, and travel. He loved the fact that his work allowed him to travel throughout the state of Wisconsin and into Upper Michigan. He thrived on meeting new people, exploring new places, and buying and selling things. He had a knack for bringing home unique finds and interesting stories.
Scott also loved sharing his knowledge. As this leg of his journey comes to an end, he would want something good to come of his passing. He would ask that all of us take a good look at our lives and the loved ones around us and let them know, every day, that we love, respect, and appreciate them. He'd encourage us to live each day as if it is our last, because none of us truly know when that will be.
Scott is survived by: his loving wife, Carolyn, and their fur-baby, Nacho; his mother, Mary Lou Bartoletti (Mike Lowell); his father, Ronald Bartoletti; sisters, Michelle (Dan) Goeben Bartoletti and Tonya Bartoletti (Mike Brandt); Mother-in-law, Lois Jean Willette, siblings-in-law; Francis (Janice) Willette; Diana (Ervin) Willette Piontek; Roger Willette (Jeanine VanGompel); Cindy (Cary) Willette Leurquin; Donna (Lee) Willette Boucher; Shirley Willette; and his many nieces and nephews who he had very special relationships with. Scott was preceded in death by: Harold Willette Sr.; Harold Willette Jr.; Cynthia Mayer Willette; and Kathy Willette.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 23, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted and used to cover medical and funeral expenses.
The family would to give a special thanks to Unity Hospice, especially Karen Goddard, for their compassion and care during this time.
