Norma Mae Philibeck

Norma Philibeck, 94, of De Pere, died on January 20, 2026. Norma was born on December 10, 1931, to the late August & Emily (Schwala) Nicklaus. She grew up on the family farm in Porterfield, WI. with her sister and graduated from Lourdes High School. Norma married Alton Philibeck on June 9, 1951. She was a devoted mother to three children, Dennis (Joan) Philibeck, Julie (Jerome) Lopas and Dale (Kim) Philibeck.

Norma worked at H.C. Pranges and Younkers in Ladies Sportswear. As a Mary Miles personal shopper for many customers. Normas enjoyed helping and working with people. She was involved many years serving funeral luncheons at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in De Pere. In her later years, Norma moved to Violet Meadows Assisted Living in De Pere where she passed away.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Philibeck, son Dale Philibeck, father and mother-in-law John (Gertrude) Philibeck, brothers-in-law John Philibeck Jr, Millard Philibeck, Gordon (Faye) Philibeck and Fred Edwin.

Norma is survived by her two children named above, her sister Carol (Fred) Edwin, two grandchildren, Jamie (Michael) Sochs, Jason (Melissa) Philibeck, a sister-in-law Carol Philibeck and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 9:00AM until 10:45AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.
