Scott A. Benner, born on July 13, 1969, in Hastings, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, in Wyoming, Michigan. He graduated from Hastings High School and became a dedicated member of the workforce at AAA Fleet in Hudsonville,.
Scott is remembered fondly for the special moments shared with family, particularly those boat rides and tubing trips that brought joy to his life. He took immense pleasure in fishing and hunting, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and find solace in the great outdoors. He was big Michigan sports fan.
Characterized by a solitary nature, Scott often kept to himself, yet those who knew him appreciated his quiet strength and unique spirit. He will be missed for the meaningful memories he created and the serene presence he brought into their lives.
Scott leaves behind his devoted father, Carl Benner; his brother, Mark (Ruth) Benner; and his beloved nieces, Samantha Benner and Sydney Benner. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara (Stutz) Benner.
As we reflect on Scott's life, we honor the heartfelt connections he made and the legacy of warmth he leaves with his family.
