W. Scott Cameron, 81 years old, died on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at his home in Center Barnstead, NH. He was born on May 14, 1943 in Long Beach, California, son of William and Shirley Cameron.
He was the beloved husband of Gunvor "Gunny" Cameron. Together since 1979, they were married on June 2, 1990 in Montpelier, VT.
Scott enlisted in the US Navy on May 20 1960 and proudly served until separation in April 1962. He loved the Navy and his role as boat coxswain. After many different jobs, he settled in as an over-the-road truck driver and eventually had his own business as owner/operator of ASAP Trukin, Inc. His love of driving never left him and in his later years, he especially enjoyed his 1940 Ford.
Predeceased by sister-in-law Ruth (Larry Kerska) Dobush and her son Scott (Sarah) Dobush.
Survived by wife Gunny, stepson Kristofer (Keith Jones) Luck, brother-in-law Lennard (Michele) Wahlberg, niece Concetta Cruze, nephews Lenny (Toni) Wahlberg, Brian (Julie) Dobush, John (Amy) Dobush, and many great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
