Scott E. Fox, 57 of Gaylord, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at home. Born June 24, 1967, in Gaylord, the son of Ronald and Hazel (Caddick) Fox.
In 1986, Scott graduated from Gaylord High School. Upon graduation, he proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving for four years. Having a great wealth of respect for the military, he went into the National Guard for 17 years. He was a correctional officer for many years at the correctional facilities at Camp Lehman in Grayling and Camp Pugsley in Kingsley. Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. He enjoyed helping his neighbors. His greatest pride and joy were his side kick, Dolly, who was his dog-child.
He is survived by his sister, Judy (Michael) Shryock; three brothers, Charles Fox, Gary Fox and Jeff (Paula) Fox all of Gaylord; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jennifer Cutting and two brothers, Ronald “Butch” Fox and James Fox.
A Celebration of life gathering will take place at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Gaylord Eagles Hall.
