Scott Hamel Obituary
Scott E. Hamel of Framingham passed away suddenly on January 10, 2025. He was born in Worcester on June 8, 1970 to the late Leo Hamel and Marjorie McGinn. Devoted brother of Michael Hamel and his wife Cindy of Bellingham, Patti Waleko and her husband Dominick of Pittsburg, PA. Loving uncle of Justin Hamel, Coreybeth Hamel, Miranda Cloutier, Shane Hamel and Ava Waleko. All to say he leaves behind his long-time friend Zan, his second home called The Eagles and many others.
Scott's infectious laugh could make anyone smile no matter the distance. He loved anything Patriots, Harley-Davidson, travel and was infamous for seeking any adrenaline rush. He was the most hardworking person. He loved his job at Brandeis University serving as the Supervisor of Building Trades. He would be the first one offering a helping hand to anyone in need- you could always count on him. Scott loved his family deeply and was the best brother, uncle, son and friend to all. He will be missed tremendously.
Funeral Service in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street Natick Common on Friday, January 16th at 10am. Followed by a luncheon at the Framingham Eagles 55 Park Street, Framingham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Private. Visiting Hours on Thursday January 15th from 4-8pm in the funeral home.

I work for Door Concepts in which Scott would call weekly for an automatic door that need to be fix. I enjoyed talking with him, we talked as if we had been friends forever. Wish I knew he was born in Worcester would have given us something else to talk about. I will miss talking with him and his laugh. Such a great and caring person. He will be missed greatly.

scotty worked for me doing construction from 1987 to 2001.since his high school days.he was one of the physically strongest men i ever knew.and an asset to my construction co.sorely missed he will be..he was a valued friend to me as well.he always stood with me whenever we had a battle to fight as men.todays news makes this day a. sorry day.RIP scotty....
