Scott Harden Obituary

Scott Randall Harden, age 73, of Logan, Ohio, passed away Sept. 14, 2025, with family in McArthur, Ohio.

Scott was born May 7, 1952, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Porter and Grace Harden. Scott graduated from Logan High School and went on to earn a degree in Agricultural Science from The Ohio State University. He dedicated his life to farming and all things agriculture to the very end. Aside from his family, John Deere tractors and equipment were his passion. He loved buying and selling equipment. Scott served as a Falls Township trustee for over 18 years. He enjoyed attending Outreach North Church in McArthur, Ohio.

Surviving are his son Derek Harden (wife Katie); grandchildren Jace, Jeslyn, and Jett Harden; brother Mark Harden; niece Ashlee Donaldson; and nephew Kyle Harden.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Grace Harden.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 21, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio, with Pastor Chris Wallis officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Rockbridge, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 1-3 p.m. on Sept. 21, 2025, at the funeral home prior to the service.
