Scott Louis Heimgartner, 56, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025. He was born on June 24, 1968, in Lewiston, to Louis and Janet Heimgartner. On this day, Scott reunited in Heaven with his beloved mother and best friend, Janet.
Scott was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and friend. He leaves behind his children: Kayla Breann Heimgartner, Brice Scott Heimgartner and Taran Savannah Eileen Heimgartner, along with son-in-law Alex W. Smith. His legacy lives on through his nine cherished grandchildren: Jaiden Heimgartner, Bration Heimgartner, Kailee Heimgartner, Kyliee Heimgartner, Audrey Heimgartner, Jaxon Smith, Payten Smith, Ryker Krieger and Railynn Smith. He was also blessed with one great-granddaughter, Reyna Heimgartner.
Scott is survived by his father Louis Heimgartner Alice Heimgartner his sister, Jody Meling; mother to his children Laurie Mckee his children; and extended family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A man of great heart and humor, Scott found joy in the simple things - hunting, fishing, working on vehicles and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and sharing stories of his life. He had a passion for the outdoors, a gift for storytelling, and an undeniable love for his family and friends.
Scott touched the lives of many and was truly loved. His spirit will continue to live on through the memories shared by those who knew him.
A service and celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 17, at First Church of the Nazarene, 1700 Eighth St., Lewiston.
This will be a potluck-style gathering - please feel free to bring your favorite dish to share.
Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home of Lewiston is in charge of arrangements.
