Scott Hodzic Obituary
Scott Asim Hodzic was born on 7-1-1966 and passed away 9-12-2024 from a well fought battle with cancer. Scott was an electrician by trade for 29 years and spent his free time on his boat, fishing, and helping others. Amongst a hard worker Scott was a devoted family man who loved taking everyone to Happy Acres Kampground every Labor Day weekend. Another favorite spot of Scott's was the beaches of key west. As well as being a family man, he was a great friend and role model to many. There was seemingly nothing he couldn't do, coining him the name 'Superman'. He is loved and remembered by his adoring wife Julie Hodzic, his kids, and his grandkids who called him Papa Squat. He will be remembered for being warmhearted, dependable and the funniest man in the room. So raise a can of Miller High Life to the funny man, he wanted his friends and family to know he loved them very much.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Scott Hodzic Sunday September 29th from 11am-5pm. 2315 Church St. Johnsburg, IL 60051

So very sorry for your lose Julie and to your family. Scott was a very nice wonderful man. I will miss our conversations and laughs. He was always nice to me.

Scott always had a smile on his face, he adored Julie and his kids and was a wonderful Pa p a Squat. He will be missed terribly and remembered forever.

Scott took me to see the movie Big for our first date in 1985 then we went to Tommy's and had to share the hot dog special because he only had so much money ,so years later we would go back to enjoy a date night together at this place.
