Scott E. Holt, of Kalamazoo passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the age of 69. He was born on December 3, 1955, in Kalamazoo. Scott was the son of Milan Robert and Doris (Jones) Holt. A man of great character, Scott was known for his outgoing nature and a remarkable sense of humor that could light up any room.
He was a proud graduate of Comstock High School, finishing with the Class of 1974. Afterward he dedicated most of his career, to the open road as a truck driver, traveling the country. In recent years, he transitioned to working with an asphalt company, contributing his skills to road construction. Scott took immense pride in his work, always striving for excellence in every task.
Above all, Scott cherished the moments he spent with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He enjoyed sharing his life with them, always aspiring to provide the best for both them and his children.
His home was a hub of love and laughter, particularly in his cherished mancave located in his garage. It was here where many fond memories were created, with friends, neighbors and family gathered around a crackling fire in the woodburning stove, the television tuned to sports, and NASCAR dominating on Sundays. Scott’s passion for motorcycles added a thrilling dimension to his life, allowing him to embrace adventure.
Scott E. Holt will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family will endure in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
