Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Scott Sherrill Johnson, age 55, of Dalton Lane passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at UNC Johnston Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Services will be held-2:00 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Four Oaks City Cemetery in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Sam Blackman.
Mr. Johnson was born on June 30, 1967 in Johnston County to Janice Blackmon Johnson and the late Billy Dean Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a utility superintendent working in construction for most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Johnson; daughter, Katlyn Johnson Nix and husband, Adam; mother, Janice B. Johnson; brother, Kelly Johnson and Sherry; his beloved dog, Jake.
Mr. Johnson will lay in state at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 26 from 9:00 till 12:00 pm. The family will not be present during this time. The family will receive friends at the graveside after the service and other times at the home of Katlyn Johnson Nix at 403 Pine Dr. Four Oaks NC 27524.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the SPCA of Wake County at 200 Petfinder Ln. Raleigh NC 27603.
