Scott Marshall Jones, of Westland, was born on March 28, 1961, and passed away at the age of 63 on March 12, 2025. He is survived by his siblings, brother KC and sister Kelly (Guillermo), and his nieces, Shauna (Michael), Marla, and Lilia and nephew, Nicolas. Scott was preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Janet.
Scott was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and went to school in Plymouth and Walled Lake, graduating from Walled Lake Western High School. He held various jobs and retired after working at Farmer Jacks for twenty years.
Scott enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises with his mother to Mexico and the Caribbean. He enjoyed camping and going to Disney World. If you knew Scott, then you knew just how much he loved trains, watching them in his childhood, traveling on them and collecting numerous train sets over his lifetime. Scott loved music and going to concerts and he was a talented drummer, having an incredible sense of rhythm. Despite his vision challenges, Scott would crush you in bowling. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and loved watching Little League baseball. Scott enjoyed cooking, getting together with family, hanging out with friends and playing computer games. He was the best uncle to his nieces and nephew and dearly loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Bean, and cats, Sugar and Pearl.
Scott was uniquely Scott. Born with the gift of gab, he made friends easily and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He had an incredible sense of humor, a contagious laugh, a heart of gold and endless generosity. He will be immensely missed by his family and friends.
