Scott Patrick Kedy peacefully departed this life, entering into his eternal life on July 1, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Audra Kedy, and son, Chet Patrick Kedy. He was born June 30, 1985, in Ada, Oklahoma, to beloved educators Mark and Paula Kedy. Scott was a lifelong sports enthusiast, proudly rooting for the Sooners and the OKC Thunder.

From a young age, Scott was a talented athlete and accomplished golfer, molded and coached by his dad. After a dominant high school career, he followed in his father’s footsteps to compete collegiately at Oklahoma City University, where he was an integral member of the varsity golf team from 2003–2007. Scott’s on-course successes during this time were only outshined by his positive leadership influence on teammates and friends alike. He made lifelong friends in college that became his extended family. Throughout his life, golf remained a great passion that he shared with everyone he could. On a golf course, no one was a stranger to Scott for very long.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree and MBA, Scott graduated from OCU School of Law in 2012. Scott took this opportunity to create more deep and lifelong friendships. During law school, he was introduced to his soulmate, Audra. They were united in marriage on July 3, 2015, at a beautiful beachside ceremony in Mexico surrounded by friends and family.

Scott and Audra made their home in Oklahoma City, where they shared countless joyous moments together. A testament to their love for each other and trust in their Savior, they also shared one of their most difficult experiences when they welcomed and simultaneously said goodbye to their baby girl, Sloane, on November 2, 2018. Steadfast and resilient, Scott carried on to the benefit of all those around him. On October 15, 2024, he and Audra welcomed the light of their life, their son, Chet, instantly his pride and joy. Scott loved being Dad and was sure to always be present and loving to Audra and Chet both, serving as an example to all.

Preceding him in death were his daughter, Sloane; grandparents, Joe and Harol Deane Parsons and Claude and Mary Lou Kedy; and uncles David Kedy and Patrick Parsons. Surviving Scott are the love of his life, Audra; son, Chet; parents, Mark and Paula Kedy; mother-in-law, Sandy Tope; aunts, Penny (David) Martin and Evelyn Parsons; cousins, Lindsay (Matt) Cordova, Dacus Doornbos, Kevin Kedy, Margo Martin, Markie (Chris) McClain, Ford (Caitlin) Parsons, and Gage Parsons; and many dear friends.

Scott was blessed with a magnetic personality that attracted reflections of himself in his friends, family, and colleagues. Uniquely happy and humorous, he stood as a solid rock for all those who knew him, a constant source of good that could be relied on no matter the circumstance. He will always be remembered and deeply missed by so many.

A memorial service honoring the life of Scott Kedy will take place at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 308 NW 164th Street, Edmond, Oklahoma, on Friday, July 11, 2025, beginning at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Tee Metropolitan Oklahoma City, P.O. Box 2381, Oklahoma City, 73101.
