Scott Linet Obituary

Scott had been a devoted teacher at Apollo Joint Vocational School and a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was also the former owner and operator of Class Body Works shop. Scott formerly attended Shawnee Alliance Church.
He had a passion for fishing on Lake Erie, especially for walleye, and was an avid supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes. A member of the Masonic Boggs Lodge in DeGraff, Scott was known for his deep love for animals and his kind and generous heart. Above all, he cherished his family, and he took great joy in spoiling his grandbabies.
Also surviving is a son – Tanner (Elizabeth) Linet of Lima; a daughter – Alyssa (Joseph) Fickert of Westerville; 3 grandchildren – Atlas Fickert, Olympia Fickert, and Tallen Linet; a brother – Dale (Lucy) Linet of FL; a sister – Linda (Garth) Beatty of Findlay; and 2 sisters-in-law – Jean Linet of North Canton and Anita Linet of OK.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers – Patrick Linet and Dennis Linet.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2024 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
Funeral services will begin 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 6th at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

It is sad to hear of Scott's passing. Scott and I were childhood friends growing up in Country Club Hills and our parents were best of friends. Scott, I and my wife had lunch last August in Shawnee at what was the old L&K as a kid. It was great to catch up and talk those times growing up. God Bless him and his family. Feel blessed I was able to see him again last year, but sad to hear this news.
