Scott Michael Litwicki, age 51, of Cement City, Michigan, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on November 22, 1974, in Flint, Michigan, Scott was the son of Michael and Elaine (Sullivan) Litwicki. He graduated from Hemlock High School in 1992 and continued his education through Averill Career Opportunity Center HVAC/R. He received an RSES Diploma for A/C & R, State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor License Classifications 1, 2, 4, 6 & 8, also holding 19 additional certificates. Scott was always eager to expand his knowledge and skills.
Scott built a career as an HVAC/R Systems Specialist and also worked at Consumers Energy as an Engineering Technical Analyst maintaining & improving facilities & equipment, understanding & ensure compliance w/all EPA laws, licensure, certifications & codes. Known as a true jack of all trades, he had a remarkable ability to take on a wide range of projects from remodeling and engineering to automotive repairs. Being able to complete these tasks brought him a sense of accomplishment and pride.
Scott was a dedicated member of Mosaic Church of Ypsilanti and more recently attended Mosaic Church of Manchester. His faith was an important part of his life.
To cherish his memory, Scott leaves his son, Jay Litwicki, his sister, Janice Litwicki; and his step-sisters Arron Dockham-Vargas and Michelle Soto. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Mosaic Church of Ypsilanti; service details will be announced at a later date.
