Jeraldine Litwicki

Jeraldine "Grandma Jer" Litwicki of Pensacola, Florida (formerly in Saginaw, Michigan) passed away peacefully at home the morning of November 29, 2025 with her daughter Arron by her side.

Jerri was born June 25, 1942 in San Marcos, Texas to Hijinio and Luisa (Estrada) San Miguel. She was raised in the mid- Michigan area. During her teen years, Jerri was asked to leave school in 9th grade to help her parents with their ever-growing family.

Long days of hard work and caring for her 13 siblings is where she inherited her strong work ethic and love of family. Any event was cause for celebration as far as she was concerned. Happily opening her home to all where music and laughter was always on the agenda.

Jerri unwillingly ended her career at the young age of 80 when her body said, "its time for rest." She loved working retail at Meijers and Krispy Kreme where she knew "no strangers".

She enjoyed reading the Bible, watching "faith-based" movies, all Michigan Sports, Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings. She loved the frequent Casino Trips and would occasionally share her winnings.

Jerri is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael; brothers, Edward, Gabriel, Gilbert, Jesse, and Richard San Miguel; and sisters, Auralia Zizumbo, Maria Curtin, and Rita Wheeler.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory daughters, Michelle (Alex) Soto, Arron (Cris) Dockham- Vargas, and Janice Litwicki; son, Scott Litwicki; grandchildren, Alexander and Jacob Soto, Katherine (Nick) Novak, Jay Litwicki, and Mila Vargas; and great grandchild, Madilyn Novak. The family would like to thank Vitas Healthcare of Pensacola, especially Candice Knight and Tanya Ashlock. Also, family friends Erin, Terry, Cris, and Don for their loving care of Jerri these last few years. Special recognition to TJ for his wonderful support.

There will be a memorial service to be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the American Legion Post 439 on Weiss, Saginaw, Michigan.
