Scott Lose Obituary

Scott Randall Lose 1957- 2025 Scott Randall (Randle) Lose, 67, of Driggs, Idaho went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 10, 2025. He was born on May 5, 1957 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and was later adopted by his parents, the late Ezra and Mabel (Farnsworth) Lose. He spent his childhood growing up in Milton, PA and graduated from Milton High in 1975. Scott married Cindy Rupp not long after, in August of 1976 after she graduated, and they were married 41 wonderful years.

After ten years of marriage, they were excited to welcome their daughter Tara Leigh to the family. When Tara was five years old, they moved to Rawlins, Wyoming. They set down roots and homeschooled Tara there. Scott helped homeschool and was a big part of his closest nephew and niece, James Whitehall and BriAnna Reedy's lives. He made his home there until Cindy's passing in 2018. After that, Scott moved to Driggs, Idaho to be closer to Tara and her family-- his grandchildren and son-in-law Caleb.

In his early years, he loved fixing up and racing Chevy cars and was still buying parts and dreaming of working on his recently purchased '63 Chevy Nova and his long time '57 Chevy 210 4 door wagon this summer.

Scott was a hard worker and held many jobs throughout his lifetime. He kept memorabilia and/or had fun stories and memories from each place. Some of his many workplaces and professions include Rothermel Meats, Mason Shoes, Bloomsburg Dye, Rip Griffin Truck Stop, Wyoming State Pen, Lose's Cleaning Service, Sinclair Trucking, and Broulims grocery store in Driggs.

After his retirement in 2020 he continued, as always, to enjoy time spent with family, which included visits to and from family in Wyoming, riding bicycle into town with the grandkids, going out to eat, holiday meals and gifts, movie nights with grandson Dominic, going to the racetrack in Eagle, Idaho, and a big family vacation to Oregon and California. He also enjoyed spending time and talking on the phone with his girlfriend Debbie as often as they could. Another of his favorite pastimes was watching westerns and action movies.

Survivors include daughter Tara and son-in-law Caleb of Driggs, Idaho, ten grandchildren (which includes his newest grandson that he was looking forward to meeting in May), girlfriend Debbie Prado, sister Rena Herman of Pennsylvania, sisters-in-law Lisa Rupp Reedy and Debbie Clark, brother-in-law Fred Clark, nieces and nephews, James Whitehall, BriAnna Reedy, Rich Edmunds, Missie Edmunds Rocker, and Joe Clark, and grandnieces and grandnephews, AJ Ditton, Nick Pollock and Emily Pollock as well as a few others he hadn't gotten to meet. In addition to Cindy, he was preceded in death by his parents, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, sister-in-law Sue Krebs, brother-in-law Bruce Krebs and a grandnephew Rigby McCumiskey.

Services will be held in Rawlins, Wyoming at Casada Funeral Home on Tuesday April 22, 2025. The viewing will be at 1 p.m. with service following at 2 officiated by Pastor Gary Gilbert and graveside service at 3:15 at the Rawlins Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Caleb Coverett, James Whitehall, Paul, Morgan, Dominic and Myles Coverett. All who knew and loved Scott are welcome to come.
