Scott C. Mattes, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born on November 2, 1963 in Easton, PA, he was the son of Charles Mattes and the late Caryl (Gary) Mattes.
He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Moravian University. He was the lead engineer for Draeger, Inc. Medical for several years before becoming the principal engineer at Imaging Sciences, Inc. When Scott retired in 2023, his passion for photography led to him opening his own business creating videos and photos with the use of drones.
In addition to his father, Scott is survived by his step mother, Sarah Mattes; daughter, Olivia Mattes; sister, Kelly Gary Line; brother-in-law, Stan Line.
Details for a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Please check back for updates. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
