Scott McLin Miller, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, passed away at home on June 12, 2024, with his loving wife by his side. He was born on January 15, 1936, to Scott and Anna Miller in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Scott met the love of his life, Conda K Miller, at work, and they were married in the Salt Lake Temple on October 9, 1964. Together, they raised four children: Michelle (Terry) Turner, Scott (Brittney) Miller, Mark Robert Miller (deceased), and Mike (Linsey) Miller. Scott took great joy in his role as a grandfather to 10 grandchildren: Tyler (Jamie) Turner, Tory Scott (Jennifer) Turner, Trevor (Jamie) Turner, Scott Zakary (McKenna) Miller, Miria (Kody) Bell, Alexander Miller, Nate Miller, Braxton Miller, Alyssa Miller, and Bode Miller. He also had 9 great-grandchildren: Tannon Turner, Taegan Turner, Hazel Turner, James Miller, Truman Turner, Brighton Miller, Scarlet Turner, Talmage Turner, and Malakai Miller, all of whom brought him immense happiness and pride.

An adventurous spirit, Scott found immense pleasure in outdoor activities such as boating, river rafting, hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, and backpacking. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed games, gardening, and cooking, especially with dutch ovens. His passion for travel took him to many places, including Lake Powell, the Grand Canyon, and various cruises.

Scott was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served diligently in numerous callings, including stake high council, bishopric, scout leader, and temple worker. He served a mission in the North Central States Mission and often spoke of his many friends from the Minnesota area. He was also honored as the first recipient of the Duty to God award by presiding bishop Joseph L. Wirthlin.

Professionally, Scott dedicated 37 years to Unisys Corporation as a computer production line supervisor. In retirement, he continued to serve, working as a government official escort and owning a small dump truck business.

Scott also served his country proudly, spending 6 years in the Air Force branch of the armed forces. He was a lifelong advocate and participant in scouting, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and holding various leadership roles, including Scout Master and Committee Member.

Scott McLin Miller will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his knowledge of mechanical & handyman skills and desire to pass along these skills to his family, his adventurous spirit, and his dedication to service. His impact on his community and his legacy of faith and love will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
