BROCKTON——Scott D. Peters, 69, died at home unexpectedly of cardiac arrest on April 25,2017.  He was born July 18, 1947 in Evanston, Illinois to Louis and Georgene (Brown) Peters. He grew up in Evanston and graduated from Evanston High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Missouri with a degree in Business Administration in 1970.He worked for many years as a business appraiser for Valuation Counselors in Chicago and Boston. He finally worked for Tyler/Lynch P.C. as a financial consultant until he retired. He has been an active member of the Covenant Congregational Church in Easton for 32 years. Scott is survived by his wife of 39 years Joanne (Hedin) Peters, three sons,, Todd and his wife Meredith, Kyle and his wife Carlyn and Seth Peters. A sister Judy (Peters) Higgins.and a brother, the late Bruce Peters. He also has two granddaughters, Payton Peters and Cameron Peters who were the apple of his eye. Also survived by many nieces and  nephews. He was much loved, a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be sorely missed. A memorial service will be held Wednesday May 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM. in the Covenant Congregational Church of North Easton 204 Center Street, Easton. In lieu of flowers donations to the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation 1004A O'Reilly Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94129 would be appreciated.
