Age 58 of Robbinsdale, passed away on February 11, 2026. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Carol Peterson; grandparents, Raymond and Violet Anderson and Harry H. and Helen Peterson. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Tonya; children, Kaylee Bridgeman, Brandon Bridgeman, Mark Smith, and Mariah (Shannon) Smith; sister, Lori (Paul) Keller; niece, Holly (Ian) Hubbard; Uncle Dale; best friend, Jeff Lanhart; his "Rat Pack" of pets, Dean, Frankie, and Sammy; and many other cherished family members and friends.

Scott was born and raised in Minneapolis. After graduating from North High School, Scott received a degree in Broadcasting from Brown College. Scott held many significant roles throughout his life, working in hospitality, construction, and education. Scott spent many years with Robbinsdale School District, holding many positions, most significantly, he was the Program Director of Custodial Services. Scott was a kind, loving, and gentle husband to his wife, Tonya. Scott and Tonya were married in a backyard ceremony at their house in Robbinsdale on August 16th, 2016. While Scott didn't have children of his own, he was a dad to so many, especially Tonya's four children. Always making time to help with household projects, watching their pets, attending their sporting events, graduations, and biggest life moments.
