Scott Savignac Obituary
August 19, 1959 – May 25, 2024
Scott Cory Savignac, born on August 19, 1959, passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 64. Scott's life was marked by his unique creativity and inventive spirit.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Norene; his daughter, Cory Wycklendt, married to Dan, and their children Karl, Henry, Grace, Olive, and Eleanor; and his son, Zachary Savignac, and his daughter, Liliana.
Scott is also remembered by his mother, Judith (Cory) Savignac, and his six siblings and their families: Mark Savignac, Cherie McNeel, Nanette White, Rene Collins, Suzanne Doolittle, and Richard Savignac.
Scott was a skilled craftsman who took great pride in his work. His dedication to his craft was evident in everything he built and created. He had many interesting ideas that were reflected in his artistry, crafts, and one-of-a-kind creations. Additionally, Scott had a playful sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to those around him.
Scott was a very proud grandfather, affectionately known as "Papa Scott," and cherished the time he spent with his family. Scott loved spending time in Eagle River, especially during summer vacations that included fishing, boating, and family time. He was passionate about grilling, enjoyed classic supper clubs, and took great pleasure in maintaining a clean house. Scott also loved his two dogs, Hunter and Ice, who were a constant source of companionship and joy. A fan of Westerns, Scott watched every John Wayne movie and was often told he looked like Tom Selleck.
His presence left a lasting impact on the lives of his family. He will be remembered for his creativity, his love for the outdoors, and the special memories he created with his loved ones.
A memorial gathering will be held for Scott on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 9:30am until the time of the funeral Mass at 11:00am all at St. Robert Catholic Church, 2224 East Capitol Drive, Shorewood, Wisconsin 53211.
