Scott Matthew Schweitzer, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, coach, and friend, passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 51. He was known for his unwavering dedication, competitive spirit, and passion for soccer. Scott's journey in life was marked by hard work, success, and a profound impact on those around him.

Born on January 3, 1972, Scott possessed an innate love for the beautiful game of soccer from a young age. His talent and determination propelled him to compete as a professional soccer player. After his playing career came to an end, he transitioned seamlessly into coaching with a specialization in goalkeeping. Scott's coaching prowess helped aspiring athletes secure college scholarships and some to embark on professional soccer careers.

Scott's natural tendency to foster relationships initially through soccer translated well into his career. He established his own business in line with this gift and cared deeply for his clients until the very end.

Scott cherished spending time with his family. He was a loving husband to Beth and a devoted father to Sierra, Alex, Mackenzie, Dylan, Matthew, Tommy, and Trey. Their bond will forever remain strong through cherished memories filled with love and laughter.

A man of immense strength and courage until the very end, Scott battled cancer with unwavering determination for two years. Though faced with immense challenges during this difficult time, he never lost his trademark tenacity or optimistic outlook. On September 10th, surrounded by his loving family at home, Scott peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy that will forever endure.

He will be deeply missed by his mother Peggy Caianiello and husband JC along with his father Rick and wife, Ellen Schweitzer, his sister Shannon Shaw and husband Todd, and his niece and nephew Taylor and Courtney Shaw. Scott also leaves behind a wide circle of friends who admired him for his integrity.

In memory of Scott, let us celebrate a life well-lived, an inspiration to all. May his remarkable journey continue to inspire us to pursue our passions relentlessly and make a positive difference in the lives of others. We bid farewell to a remarkable man who will forever remain alive in our hearts.
