Scott Stuchell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home - Hillsdale on Feb. 4, 2026.
Scott Allen Stuchell, age 57, of North Adams, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, surrounded by his family at Beacon Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born on March 24, 1968, in Hillsdale, to Roger Stuchell and Cheryl Shaffer. He married Megan Marovich on January 27, 2007, and she survives.

Scott graduated from Hillsdale High School and went on to attend Kendall School of Design. He worked at many places as a automotive product designer and was most recently at Livonia Tool. Scott loved the outdoors and tinkering with things out in his garage with his favorite music playing in the background. He was a huge University of Michigan fan and even got married at the stadium in his favorite jersey. Go Blue! Scott was admired for always unapologetically being himself. He was above all, a family man and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Scott is survived by his wife of 18 years, Megan; five children, Cordie Stuchell, Kuper (Mel Watkins) Stuchell, Ramsey (Candi) Rowland, Shay (John) Calhoun, and Brenden (Koressa) Beavers; eleven grandchildren, Triton, Iris, Rylie, Grace, Hunter, Laiken, Lillie, Jensen, Olivia, Jonah, and Anniston; his father, Roger Stuchell; his mother, Cheryl (Stev) Shirk; his brother, Daren (Tammy) Stuchell; his brother-in-law, Steve (Michelle) Marovich; and his lifelong friend, Dennis Hagaman.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Stuchell.

A celebration of life for Scott Stuchell will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Greater Hillsdale Humane Society.
