Scott William Thornton, age 58, of Grayling, MI passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at home.
Scott was born on March 17, 1967 to Richard and Peggy (Reynolds) Thornton in Highland Park, MI. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt.
Scott is survived by his mother, Peggy Parks; daughters, Tabitha Starr (Mike) Hunt and Christina Thornton; son, Scott Thornton II; siblings, Randy (Carol) Reynolds, Richard (Ann Marie) Thornton II, and Dean (Lori) Thornton; grandchildren, Claire, Trinity, Brandon, Lilly, and Oliver. He is preceded in death by his father Richard and nephew Randy II.
Scott's family will remember him privately during this time.
