Lester Thornton Obituary

Lester was born December 4, 1933 in Zeigler, Illinois to Joseph and Freda (Miller) Thornton. He was a member of Florissant Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Royce White.
Lester is survived by his wife, Donna Joyce White Thornton; sons, Mark and David Thornton; God-daughters, Nicole Ashraf and Danielle Schinker; sisters-in-law, Linda White and Wanda Lawrence; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00p.m. in Denning Cemetery with Pastor Luke Wilson officiating. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to the service.
Military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 1961.
