Scott Kenneth Tilley, of Roswell, GA, Fulton County, passed away on February 24, 2025. He was a cherished father, husband, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was the beloved son of Johnnie Eads Verrette and the late Orlando K. Tilley, the loving husband of Jann Everard Tilley, father of Jordan Tilley Rodriguez, and the grandfather of Emily and Jason Rodriguez. He was the brother of Shawn Kornrumpf (Kirk), step-brother of James M. Tilley, and beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Scott was born in New Orleans, LA on January 23, 1959 and was a native of Slidell, Louisiana, where he spent his childhood and young adult years. He went on to enlist in the United States Army and earned the rank of Specialist 4th Class. He returned home and pursued a career in the insurance industry. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others. In his free time, Scott was a history enthusiast, loved exploring the beauty of nature, and was always eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with others. A private memorial will be held with Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell, La. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society and the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School (Slidell, LA) Exceptional Learner's Program for children with developmental disabilities.
