Scott Warkentin--beloved husband, father, son, and brother, lost his valiant battle with cancer on October 27, 2022.
He was born on November 8, 1973 in Ogden, Utah to John and Diana Turner Warkentin. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1992.
On June 25, 2005 he married the love of his life, Meghan. They raised two wonderful children, Quinten and Ruby.
Scott worked for Kennecott Copper for several years. Scott was a hard worker, and a dedicated and loving husband, father, son, and brother. Throughout his life, the most important thing to Scott was his family. He did everything he could to take care of his family.
Scott is survived by his wife, Meghan; children, Quinten and Ruby; brother, Terry; parents, John and Diana of Plain City. Also, several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by two aunts and his grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East. Feel free to bring a short story or thoughts in honor of Scott. Thank you to Intermountain Home Care and Hospice for their kindness and care shown to Scott and his family.
A second celebration of life will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1105 North Washington Blvd. in Ogden on November 6th at 11:00 am.
