Scott Lloyd Waters, 53, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at his home.

He was born on July, 24, 1971 to Glenna (Copenhaver) Waters and the late Johnie Waters in Somerset, Kentucky. He enjoyed fishing, smoking meat, racing, and going to the beach. He loved spending time with his family and just enjoyed life in general. Scott was a very respectful person who always put God and family first. He took pride in his family. He was a member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church, a member of Sievers Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, and Shriners.

He is survived by his wife, Alisha (Caudill) Waters whom he married May 15, 1999; his mother, Glenna (Copenhaver) Waters; his son, Brayden Waters; his two daughters, Maci Tomlison and Tayler Waters; two grandchildren, Jett Tomlison and Bodhi Tomlison; his aunts, Mary & (Larry Dean) Black and JoAnn Hargis; his uncle, Jessie & (Eunice) Waters; his nephew, Zachary Caudill; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bennie & Lois Caudill; and sister-in-law, Anna Caudill.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnie Waters; paternal grandparents, Stanley & Ida (Dick) Waters; and maternal grandparents, Lloyd & Gertie (Weaver) Copenhaver.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. William Dawson officiating.

Mason Services will be held by Sievers Masonic Lodge #491.

Burial will be at Science Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 1 PM on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
