Scott Wheeler Obituary

FRANKLIN - Scott Paul Wheeler, 74, passed away peacefully at his residence Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025. Born Feb. 17, 1951, in Brecksville, Ohio, he was the son of the late John Edward Wheeler and Evelyn Celeste Brocco Wheeler.
Scott built a long and dedicated career with The Hershey Company, where he worked for 25 years and earned the title of manager through his commitment, leadership and strong work ethic. Outside of his professional life, Scott was known for his love of adventure and the outdoors. Motorcycles, boating and spending time in nature brought him great joy throughout his life.
A man of deep faith, Scott was an active member of the Discover Church. He contributed wholeheartedly to Bible Study and Life Groups and served wherever he was able, including assisting with parking ministry. His willingness to help and his steady presence made a meaningful impact on those around him.
In the 1980s, Scott found fulfillment in his work with the Big Brother organization, where he enjoyed mentoring and supporting young people. He also had a lifelong love of dogs, who were constant companions and a source of happiness.
Scott was predeceased by his brothers, Jack and Mark Wheeler; and nephew, J.L. Wheeler.
He is survived by his nieces, Brooke Reale, Rosemary Wheeler and Amy Williams; nephews, Zachary and Michael Wheeler and Eron and Eric Lindsey; and great-nephew, Jack Wheeler.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Discover Church.
