Sean Dye, age 52 of Mintonville, Kentucky passed away on November 1, 2025. He was born on October 1, 1973 in Somerset, Kentucky, the son of Johnny and Emma Jean (Shadoan) Dye.
Sean was a 1991 graduate of Casey County High School and employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad. He enjoyed hunting, fishing , farming, talking with friends and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Sean is proceeded in death by his mother, Emma Jean Dye.
He is survived by his father, Johnny Dye, his children, Amber & (Luke), Bryce, and Caden & (Hannah), grandchildren, Alexus, Hudson and Maverick, brothers, Steve & (Penny) and Chuck, A sister, Michelle. The mother of his children along with many nieces, nephews and family that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home. His funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home with Brother David Green officiating. Burial will be in the Mintonville cemetery.
