Sean Lee Grant, 60, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at his home. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Sean was born on March 11, 1965 in Atlantic, Iowa to Gary Grant and Bonita (Morgan) Shinkle. He attended schools in Des Moines, Anita, Iowa and Norfolk, Virginia.
He worked for Neumann Bros. and was a member of Carpenters Local 106 for 26 years and recently retired. He was very proud of his years of service and work on the restoration of the Capital, Science Center, 801 Grand and many more projects. Sean enjoyed riding his Harley, boating, NASCAR, following football and hanging out with his many friends and especially his dog and best friend BO.
Sean is survived by his sister, Angela Grant, niece, Anna Keller, nephew, Kevin Keller, great nephew, Theo Frazier, his dog BO, girlfriend Tina Renteria and many friends and family. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother Gary Grant, Jr.
The family will greet friends on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Berean Assembly of God Church
