Sean James Minneker

Sean James Minneker, age 32, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on August 21, 2025, at Doctors West Hospital.

Born on November 30, 1992, in Columbus, Sean was the beloved son of William "Bill" Minneker and the late Robin Diane Morrison. He will be deeply missed by his father, Bill Minneker; grandmother, Karen Kight Morrison; brothers, Brian Trudeau, Nick (Madeline) Trudeau, and Eric (Morgan) Minneker; aunts, Kathy (Kirk) Carsten and Kimberley Phillips; cousins, Kirk (Jessica) Carsten, Amanda (Joe) Walls, Edward "BJ" Kindler, Angelia Reed, and his close cousin and lifelong partner-in-crime, Samantha (Stephen) Tarver.

Sean is preceded in death by his loving mother, Robin Diane Morrison; grandfathers, Jim Morrison and Charles Minneker; grandmother, Rosalie Yakunich; and his beloved dog, Jewels.

Sean was truly larger than life. Known for his ornery humor and adventurous spirit, he brought laughter wherever he went. He had a big heart, a kind soul, and a deep love for family and friends. A devoted fan of football, Sean especially cherished cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Philadelphia Eagles.

A private memorial service will be held on September 12, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Jackson Lake Campground. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sean's memory to your local animal shelter or to veterans' organizations.

To honor Sean's passion for football, attendees are encouraged to wear Buckeyes or Eagles attire-just as Sean would have wanted.

Sean will be remembered as a gentle giant with a mischievous smile, a loving heart, and a life lived with boldness and joy.
