Sean Reidy

Sean J Reidy, a resident and local businessman of Neptune NJ died peacefully in the early morning hours of Jan 7, 2025 at the age of 61.
Sean was born in Syracuse, NY. He graduated from Nottingham HS and attended SUNY at Buffalo Architecture School. After graduation he had the opportunity to work in many cities including Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and NYC. His last years were spent in Neptune NJ where he and his partner Steven enjoyed working together at their business Simon Vintage Furniture, as well as spending time with their dogs, and living in the community of Neptune NJ.
He is survived by his partner of 24 years Steven Cruse, his siblings Teresa (Roy) Sumfleth Callicoon NY, Elizabeth (James) Lambie Pittsburgh PA, Michael Reidy Oscoda MI, and James Reidy Syracuse NY., three nieces, Kristina, Samantha and Erin, and one nephew Jake (James). He also leaves behind his Aunt Betty Reidy of Syracuse; a centenarian, his many cousins, close friends, business associates and acquaintances. He was predeceased by his loving parents Michael J Reidy and Shirley A Scamp Reidy of Syracuse NY.
Our family would like to thank the 6th floor Health Care Team and Hospice at HMH Jersey Shore University Medical Center Neptune City NJ for their compassionate care of Sean during his time at the hospital.
Sean is to be buried in Oakwood Cemetery in the company of his maternal grandparents.
