Sean William Weeks

 

 

Sean William Weeks, 33, of Staunton and the Forks of Water community of Highland County, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 as the result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born March 24, 1990, a son of Jeannette Hope Harper of Staunton and John “Billy” William Weeks of Stuarts Draft.

An outdoor enthusiast who found peace in the country and nature, Sean enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking the mountain, especially at his Granddad Harper’s at Forks of the Water. He also loved auto restoration, as well as working and operating heavy equipment. Above all, Sean will be remembered for his love of work and doing thing with his hands and outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is survived his paternal grandmother, Lyla Weeks of Verona; maternal grandmother, Betty Estep and husband, Jim of Verona; as well as grandfather, Dwight “Junior” Harper, Jr. of Forks of the Water.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Wade Weeks and step-grandfather, Marvin Puckett, Jr.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
