Seena Cook

Cook, Seena Essexville, Michigan Seena Gertrude Cook was born Detroit, MI on October 29, 1918 to the late Julius and Bella (Laichtman) Honeyman. She passed away on February 8, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond R. Cook, M.D. on March 17, 1985. Seena was a member of Temple Beth Israel, Hadassah, Temple Beth Israel Sisterhood and the Bay County Medical Society Alliance and a former member of the Bay City Country Club and Saginaw Bay Yacht Club. She is survived by 3 children: David A. (Beth) Cook, M.D., Jacqueline (Tom) Harris, and Linda Nalazek, 6 grandchildren: Rebecca (Brian) Jacobson, Michael (Carmen) Harris, Amy Cook, Jeffrey (Kellie) Harris, Tamara (Robert) Alexrod and Jason Nalazek and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters. Funeral service will be Friday, February 10, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Penzien Steele Funeral Home. Rabbi Dorit Edut will officiate with burial following at the Bay City Jewish Community Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday from 12 noon until the service begins. Memorial may be made to Temple Beth Israel.
