Selena Lynn Gomez born January 21, 2008, passed away on December 21, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday (1/6/24) at 10am at Ministerious Bethel. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday (1/5/24) at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home from 2-7pm.
She’s survived by her parents Eduardo and Kendra Gomez; brother, David Gomez; maternal grandparents, David and Patricia Cyphert of Sanford NC; paternal grandparents, Eladia Rodriguez of California, Ramon Gomez of Mexico; great grandmothers Meredes Auria of Sanford, NC and Margaret Clawson of Pennsylvania, Justa Marina Rodriguez of Florida; uncles, Jesus Puente (Alexandria) of California, Vladimir Gomez of Sanford, Omar Gomez of Sanford, Matthew Cyphert (Kristie) of New Jersey, Mark Cyphert (Katie) of Virginia; aunts, Karina Sotelo of California, Nidia Borges (Joshua) of Texas; many great aunts, great uncles, cousins and too many to name but loved by all.
Seléna loved art and music and showed that through her paintings and many trips to the store for Spotify. She had dreams of becoming a fashion designer and was excited to be getting paint and fabric for her birthday. She also loved animals! We know you are in the arms of Jesus but will be greatly missed.
