Selma Davis Obituary
Mrs. Selma P. Davis, age 80, died Saturday, December 9, 2023, surrounded by her family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 12 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday, December 13 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Palestine Cemetery, Harrisville, MS.
Mrs. Davis was born October 28, 1943, in Jackson, MS, to Mary Ellen Curtis Puckett and Robert Marion Puckett. She was married to William Davis for 30 years until his passing in 1992. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Tammy Hedgepeth and Robin Middleton, two sisters, Bobbye Ann Dalhart and Mary Elaine Jennings; and two great-grandchildren, Blayne and Maddox Osborne.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Robert (and his wife Barbara) and Micheal; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
