Sergio Amaya Obituary
Sergio is survived by his wife, soulmate, and love of his life of 40 years, Judi; his son, Nickolas, along with his daughter-in-law and grandson, Cassie and Cannon; and his daughter, Gabrielle. He is also survived by his siblings, Annabel, Isa, and Omar; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rene and Julia Moulinet; along with a number of beloved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Pablo Amaya and his mother, Julia Amaya.
Sergio was immeasurably dedicated to his family and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
A funeral mass for Sergio will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Rd, Austin, TX 78749. Following the funeral mass will be a committal service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749. A Celebration of Life is to follow at The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge, 1215 Chappel Ln., Austin, TX 78748 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the Amaya family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Sergio's name.
