Sergio Ramirez, a beloved son, brother, and hero, passed away leaving behind a legacy of strength, courage, and unconditional love. He was deeply loved, respected, and admired by his family ,friends, colleagues, and by the many lives he saved throughout his life. Sergio was a man of strong character and a noble heart who accomplished his goal of becoming a law enforcement officer. He served with honor, dedication, and an unwavering sense of duty, always placing the lives of others above his own.

Through his service, he saved countless lives and earned the sincere respect of all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. Beyond his service, Sergio deeply valued time spent with his family and peers. He was someone who showed up for others, always willing to lend a hand and help anyone he could. His kindness, loyalty, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Sergio is survived by and will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Francisca Ibarra (Gregorio Madera); his father, Rito Ramirez; his sister, Crystal Ramirez (Salinas) (Ricardo Salinas); and his grandmother, best known as "Tita," Leonor Avila (Cecilio Ibarra).

He is reunited in heaven with his beloved grandparents, Salvador Ramirez, Maria Guadalupe Falcon, and Cecilio Ibarra, where we find comfort knowing he is at peace. To his family, Sergio was far more than his uniform. To his sister, known to him as "bro," he was and

will always be a source of pride. She will forever keep his memory alive in her heart and will always be proud to say that Sergio Ramirez was her little brother.

Although his passing brings profound sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Sergio lived a life of true purpose. His courage, sacrifice, and love will live on forever in our hearts and in every life he

touched. Sergio Ramirez will be remembered always, respected eternally, and loved beyond measure.

"Sergio Ramírez, amado hijo, hermano y héroe, partió dejando un legado de fortaleza, valentía y amor incondicional. Fue profundamente amado, respetado y admirado por su familia, amigos, compañeros y por las muchas vidas que salvó a lo largo de su vida.

Sergio fue un hombre de carácter fuerte y corazón noble que logró cumplir su meta de convertirse en oficial de la ley. Ejerció su profesión con honor, dedicación y un firme sentido del deber, siempre poniendo la vida de los demás por encima de la suya.

A través de su servicio, salvó incontables vidas y se ganó el respeto sincero de todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y trabajar a su lado. Más allá de su vocación de servicio, Sergio valoraba profundamente el tiempo que pasaba con su familia y sus seres queridos. Siempre fue una persona dispuesta a tender la mano y ayudar a quien lo necesitara. Su bondad, lealtad y generosidad dejaron una huella imborrable en todos los que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo.

Sergio es sobrevivido y será profundamente extrañado por su querida madre, Francisca Ibarra (Gregorio Madera); su padre, Rito Ramírez; su hermana, Crystal Ramírez (Salinas) (Ricardo

Salinas); y su abuelita, mejor conocida como "Tita," Leonor Ávila (Cecilio Ibarra).

Se reúne en el cielo con sus amados abuelos, Salvador amírez, María Guadalupe Falcón y Cecilio Ibarra, donde encontramos consuelo al saber que ahora descansa en paz. Para su familia, Sergio fue mucho más que su uniforme. Para su hermana, conocida por él como "bro", fue y siempre será una fuente de orgullo. Ella mantendrá su memoria viva en su corazón y siempre dirá con orgullo que Sergio Ramírez fue su hermanito. Aunque su partida nos llena de profundo dolor, encontramos consuelo al saber que Sergio vivió una vida con verdadero propósito. Su valentía, su sacrificio y su amor vivirán para siempre en nuestros

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday January 30, 2026, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Services will conclude with burial at the Riverside Cemetery, Heyburn. Viewing for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday January 29, 2026, with the Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Hansen Mortuary, Rupert. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
