Sergio Raul Sciacca

Sergio Sciacca, 58, died Friday February 28th, 2025, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on May 15, 1966 in Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina to Blanca and Raul Sciacca. He graduated from University of Buenos Aires and later started working as a software programmer.
Sergio immigrated to Worcester MA, United States in 1998, where he later met his wife at Blue Jeans Pizza. Sergio and Lola (Belica) Sciacca married in Worcester MA, on May 8, 2004. In his spare time, Sergio enjoyed spending time with family and watching his favorite sports, football (soccer) and basketball. He followed his beloved team Boca Juniors.
Sergio is survived by his wife, Lola; his sons: Maxi (32), Anthony (19) and Michael (9); his daughter-in-law, Florencia (Maxi's wife); grandsons: Benjamin and Sebastian; his sister, Gisel and brother-in-law, Richardo; his nephew, Felipe; and niece/goddaughter, Tania. He was preceded in death by his mother, Blanca Gongora and his father, Raul Sciacca.
The visitation for Sergio will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. His funeral service will also be held at Ponte Vedra Valley on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM, immediately followed by the burial.
