Seth Bloomquist Obituary

Published by Weed Corley Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services - Leander/Cedar Park on Jan. 1, 2015.
Seth Aron Bloomquist, age 33, died on Thursday, January 1st in his home in Leander after a seven year battle with cancer. From his birth, on August 29, 1981, to his death on Thursday, he touched and changed the lives of the people he came in contact with. Seth was raised in Leander Texas where he attended elementary, middle and high school. Seth received his Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. Seth was co-owner of his family's business, Arise Services in Leander. While in high school, Seth made a solemn oath to spend his life following Christ. Seth was a man of great integrity who had unending love for the Lord and for his family. He spent his time here on this earth defending that faith and fervently professing the love of Christ to those around him. Seth was diagnosed with cancer on March 11, 2007. During his seven year battle with cancer, Seth continually encouraged and ministered to others about the amazing work God was doing in his life. He proudly displayed the large "S" shaped scar on his head in order to open conversation about God's sustaining love through the trials of battling cancer. Left to honor Seth and remember his love are Seth's wife Robin Broeker; their four children, Lexi Ann Quintana, Matthew Ryan Bloomquist, Joshua Aron Bloomquist, and John David Samuel Bloomquist; his parent's Larry and Robin Bloomquist; brother Adam Bloomquist, all of Leander; and Grandparents Harold and Angie Bloomquist of Georgetown and Roger Beck of Austin. Seth will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving father and husband, faithful brother and son, and a very generous friend. A memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 6th at New Hope Baptist Church at 200 W. New Hope Dr., Cedar Park. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up for the Bloomquist children. Please go to http://www.gofundme.com/jf72wo if you would like to donate.
