In loving memory of Shane Thomas Aliff, affectionately known as Bud, who unexpectedly passed away in Somerset, Ohio. Born in Lancaster, Ohio on December 13, 1986, Bud's life was a testament to kindness and the joy of helping others. His gentle nature and quiet demeanor touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Shane had a passion for music and was a talented guitar player and drummer. Whether he was strumming melodies or casting lines while fishing, his love for these hobbies always shone through. He found solace and expression through music, creating beautiful harmonies that will forever echo in the hearts of those who heard him play.
Family was at the center of Shane's world. He is survived, his father, Speed Aliff, and his sisters Rhonda (Robert Hollis) Lamp, Stephanie Padilla, Nikki Aliff, Amber (Christopher) Fisher, Kimmy (TJ) Harris. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will miss his presence dearly.
Preceding Bud in death are his mother, Lisa Seigler Padilla and his brother, Aaron Aliff.
Friends and family are invited to honor Shane's life at the visitation service at Goebel Funeral Home in Crooksville on February 25th, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The graveside service will be held at Aliff Family Cemetery, 5526 Rushcreek Rd. Somerset on February 26th starting at 12:00 noon.
As we come together to celebrate the life of Shane (Bud) Thomas Aliff, let us remember his kind spirit, his love for music and nature, and the profound impact he had on all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he was cherished by many and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
